Transaction to Transformation — Sharing Failures

Wrapping up our chats with Kiza teammate Colleen, we looked at how working #Relationships evolve over time: we noticed a big difference between a simple vendor exchange and a true #Partnership that drives game-changing #Results. 📈

#Intrapreneurs, you do not need to start every new vendor relationship with warm fuzzies and deep personal histories. 🤝 You can start with a simple transaction.

You ask for a specific fix, and we deliver that exact fix. We call this playing in both the transactional and relational worlds… or “#Relactional” as #TransformationalLeadership training would call it.

But the real magic happens during the handoff. That moment creates an opportunity for #Openness.

We might ask, "We noticed you handle this workflow differently—what drove that decision?". When you invite us into that broader context, you transition us from a vendor to a true #TechnologyPartner.

To build that partnership, we need you to share the tough stuff. Colleen recalled a time when a team waited until halfway through a project to mention they previously lost a million dollars on a similar failed system. They kept that data hidden.

We need those lessons! That lost budget represents crucial sunk data. Knowing why the previous attempt failed prevents us from making the exact same mistakes.

Think about the space shuttle Challenger investigation. Engineers had to examine the failures (o-rings busting at low temps), not just the successes (o-rings holding their seal across all temps), to find the right path forward in their #Planning.

Your past failures give us the exact data we need to succeed today. 📉 When you share your whole story—the wins and the costly mistakes—you empower us to serve you better and build a flawless #SoftwareProcess.

The Wrap Up: We love watching a simple task evolve into a powerhouse partnership.

Teaser: Stay tuned for more insights on how we help #WorkplaceInnovators win big in their #TechPlanning and execution! 🎉
