Sharing the Whole Context — Beyond the Vending Machine

In a recent discussion with our teammate Colleen, we unpacked a bit more of the layers for how to create a culture of #Openness and #Trust, and how to build up the context over a working #Professional #Relationship.

Our #ClientSuccess #Scorecard process shows us a clear pattern among our most successful clients: they share the whole context. 🗺️

Intrapreneurs, you bring incredible #Vision to your organizations. You zoom out, show us how the project fits the big picture, and give us the full tour. When you share previous #Challenges and past failures, you create a foundation for big, transformational impact! 🚀

By contrast, when teams withhold context, they treat technology partners like #Vending machines. You push the buttons, insert the money, and expect a predictable snack. 🍫

But you never get anything beyond the expected output.

Colleen noted that if you engineer all the solutions behind the scenes and only hand us the final instructions, we miss the magic. We need to know your assumptions to truly help. It feels similar to an AI hallucinating - if you do not understand the training data, you cannot separate fact from fiction.

Sometimes, keeping a narrow focus causes us to miss huge wins. Colleen shared an example of sitting with a client's team and noticing a painful, manual invoice process.

Because she sat in the room and #Observed the #Broader workflow, she offered an instant fix that saved them countless hours. We cannot find those breakthroughs if we only stick to a rigid agenda.

The Wrap Up: When you open up the full picture and share the why, we partner with you to build something truly game-changing.

Next up: We explore how to build this kind of deep trust using straightforward, honest feedback. 👀
